Answer: Entropia have a structured dealer network that is continually expanding to cater for the clients in the
field. Wherever the client is, we will assure support will be passed to him via our attractive warranty program

What is Digital Radio?
Like mobile phones, which have gone from analogue to digital, two-way radio is following suit. Digital is the future but is expensive. Affordable conventional two-way radios are still here for many years to come. Digital radio is available and HYT are leaders in the research and design of this new technology with products due for launch in the near future.
Can HYT be used on the Public Trunking Networks?
HYT China is the principal supplier of both trunking infrastructure and mobile/portable units in the majority of the provinces in China. With this expertise behind Entropia, we are testing portables and mobiles as we speak, with an intended launch to be announced in the near future.
Is HYT going to supply UHF (Citizen Band) equipment?
Entropia is developing a UHF product both mobile and finally portable as well. This product is
planned for release in the final quarter of this year. Watch this space.
Can HYT assure interference free radio transmission?
How far does a two way radio talk?
This is always debated, and is an estimate only. Many factors like depending on the terrain, density of buildings, cars and surrounding electrical activity like mobiles phones, generators etc. can vary but handheld to handheld (portable to portable) between 1-2 km’s can be estimated, but one well might get 5 km's if one portable is elevated substantially. A vehicle radio could get up to 7-10 kms again depending on many variable factors. A Repeater System will increase again, maybe 15km depending on its location elevation and power etc.
How can I increase my communications range?
A repeater is an automatic relay station, which extends your radio’s coverage in a specific area. This can be rented via a service provider much like the mobile phone concept or purchased outright. Please see our products for further info, which caters for stand alone cost affective solutions.
Can a Dealer access software and technical help from Entropia?

Can I source after market accessories for the HYT product?
HYT have a broad range of accessories, which cater for the majority of needs. But like all industries today after market accessories are available from a number of sources. We have recommended suppliers that produce product compatible with HYT and encourage the dealers and clients alike to utilise these suppliers as they often cater for the more specialised needs that we would not be addressing at this moment in time.
